What We're Looking For
Cross River’s Technology team is made up of problem solvers hungry to perfect new products and systems. As Senior Solution Architect, you play a key role. In this role you will focus on solving complex business problems and providing technical solutions for both our partners and internal business units. You will work closely between our product and engineering teams to ensure the features we build align with our enterprise architecture and product vision. The Technology team cares about results, not activity, and we have fun doing it. If you like challenging problems are analytical, and a great team player—we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product team to architect solutions to business problems and feature enhancements
- Provide technical guidance to internal engineering teams based on product requirements from business units
- Provide high quality architectural diagrams and documentation
- Meet with external partner engineering teams during sales and integration calls to answer technical questions about our platforms
- Perform UAT testing on certain new system modules and complex feature sets
- Assist with various special projects and vendor integrations
- Contribute to product backlog grooming sessions with product managers and engineering teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a software engineer
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading an IT group or in a senior architecture position
- Knowledge of message-based system architecture
- Hands on experience with SQL
- Working independently or minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- An ability to understand complex business requirements and a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive experience with API based systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of C#, AWS, Containers, Rabbit MQ, MS SQL, JSON, and Postman
- Experience with Fintech API based systems
- Experience in any of the following areas: lending, banking, payments, compliance, and crypto currency

Salary Range: $185,000.00 - $210,000.00
