As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in deploying capabilities to meet the company's near and long term goals. What You’ll Work On
SAP BASIS Leadership
• Mentor BASIS administrators supporting SAP S/4HANA and BTP, and vendor relationships. 
• Oversee system performance, availability, and scalability across development, QA, and production environments. 
• Lead SAP upgrades and patching with minimal disruption to validated systems. 
• Manage system landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD) and transport management. 
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies are in place. 
• Lead BASIS-related initiatives including system refreshes, cloud transitions, and disaster recovery planning. 
• Drive continuous improvements for improved reliability and stability of S4 HANA and integrations. 

SAP GRC, role design, and Security
• Architect Complex Role Structures: Design and maintain advanced security models (Single, Composite, Derived) within S/4HANA, incorporating Fiori Catalog/Group security. 
• Full Cycle GRC: Manage the end-to-end configuration and operational health of SAP GRC Access Control (10.x/12.0), including ARA, ARM, EAM (Firefighter), and BRM.
• Continuous Compliance: Proactively monitor for SOD (Segregation of Duties) conflicts. Design and implement mitigation controls where business process requirements override standard risk rules.
 
SOX Compliance & Audit Liaison
• Audit Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audit teams regarding SAP operations and GRC controls. 
• Remediation: Develop and execute remediation plans to address audit findings or identified control gaps within strict timelines. 

Integration Strategy & Execution
• Design and implement integration solutions between SAP and other enterprise systems using API-based solutions, Dell Boomi, SAP BTP, and other middleware platforms.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and external systems. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution
• Act as a technical advisor for SAP architecture decisions impacting compliance and scalability. 
• Team & Project Management.
• Lead and mentor a team of SAP technical consultants and BASIS administrators
• Coordinate with external vendors (SAP) and service providers to ensure delivery of excellence.
• Drive technical workstreams in SAP projects.

Governance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to IT security policies, audit requirements, and SAP best practices. 
• Ensure all changes follow standard change control procedures and adhere to documentation standards. 
• Partner with internal audit and quality teams to ensure system compliance and readiness.
 
What You Contribute
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field with 10+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of SAP BASIS experience is required
• SAP certifications in BASIS and/or Integration technologies
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role desired
• Strong understanding of GxP, FDA regulations, SOX/ITGC compliance, and system validation practices
• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Strong understanding of hybrid integration models.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Exposure to medical device manufacturing systems and validation protocols
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex SAP landscapes
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously
 
Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 5 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
 
Annual Base Salary Range:  $210,000 - $260,000 / year
We offer a competitive compensation package plus a benefits and equity program, when applicable.  
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
