Job DescriptionThe Senior Solutions Architect, reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The primary function of this position is to act as the architecture contact for any system connected with imaging (Radiology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Radiation Oncology, etc) and review new functionality prior to purchase to ensure that it will meet the designed workflows and meets IT standards. They will create architecture designs for new implementations, upgrades, expansions..to research solutions to business & clinical problems, leverage all tools at our disposal to brainstorm solutions, and execute solutions from conception to design to implementation, engaging others as necessary for additional input. The Senior Solution Architect also guides and mentors other solution architects & team members on solution design, development & deployment.

Responsibilities:
- Become an architecture functional expert e.g., inpatient, ambulatory, PACs systems, etc.
- Create, Update or Design solutions that maximize the value of systems of record and leverage emerging digital capabilities.
- Define models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions for the enterprise
- Ensure that agreed upon architectural standards, reference architectures and patterns are adhered to in solution design
- Support architectural governance by participating in design reviews, architecture reviews, etc.
- Ensure that application and integration rationalization is included in future-state plans and current-state new designs
- Contribute functional architectural expertise to complex, enterprise-wide initiatives
- Participate in, and contribute to, the architecture communities of practice
- Lead and mentor other solution architects
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 6+ years in enterprise, application, technical, or information architecture design
- Advance strong technical knowledge of application delivery methods and familiarity with how portfolios of systems work together to create enterprise solutions
- Demonstrated results managing and/or influencing team members and serving as role model / mentor
- Demonstrated knowledge on variety of domain specific areas (i.e., coding languages such as C, C++, JAVA, .NET, C#, Python, SQL, etc.; Applications such as Epic, ServiceNow, etc.; Technology such as Microsoft, AI/ML, Orchestration, etc.; Interoperability expertise such as FHIR, APIs, etc.)
- Understanding of current IT trends, key vendors and their impact on business strategies, Cloud technologies, Mobile applications, BI architecture, agile IT processes, usability architecture, front-end design, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to learn new technologies and leverage available tools to expand knowledge in areas outside existing scope of knowledge
- Pragmatic, articulate, persuasive to execute architectural solutions from conception to deployment, including change management with key stakeholders
- Ability to effectively translate and present technology solutions in business or management terms
- Visionary thinker that can anticipate future computing capabilities and use cases
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
