TEAM
Arene Software Engineering Platform Team's mission is to simplify software development and increase developer agility by creating tools and processes which enable novel uses of vehicles without compromising safety.
Arene Professional Services is a sub-team of Software Engineering Platform and exists to transform jobs, train organizations, customize software products, develop a customer helpdesk function, and prepare others for software implementation.
You will report to the Head of Professional Services, and the role is hybrid - 3 days in office per week.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You are a professional with experience in Systems Engineering and Automotive Software Development who loves working in a fast paced and dynamic environment in a diverse and global team. As a Solutions Architect in our organization, you will help design and implement the latest solutions for automotive applications and development platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving innovation, optimizing performance, and ensuring the success of our automotive software products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical architectures and design software solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high quality solutions.
- Integration: Evaluate and recommend integration strategies for automotive systems, applications and development platforms.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and best practices, to facilitate knowledge sharing and project scalability.
- Be a subject matter expert across our Arene Product offerings providing expert consultation and support to clients, addressing technical challenges and ensuring successful project delivery.successful project delivery.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, systems engineering) experience
- 10+ years of development or implementation/consulting in the software or industries experience
- Experience working in customer facing roles (solutions architect, project manager, project lead, program manager, customer success manager or similar role) in automotive, aerospace or other safety critical industry
- Fluent to native level Japanese proficiency, with business level English proficiency
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Understanding of Toyota's Organization and Cultural Practices.
- Experience launching products in a global market.
