What will you contribute? 

 

As a Solutions Consultant within the European Treasury and Capital Markets team, you will be directly contributing to supporting sales with expert consulting, client-facing engagement, and product demonstrations.  This role will be working with Customers Across Front Office and Risk with a range of Tier 1-3 banks in the region. You will develop a reputation for deep product expertise on across these segments  and business knowledge in Front office trading and Risk, and become a trusted adviser for Sales and Client alike. You will be proactively engaging with our broad customer base as well as prospects to drive business opportunities in the region. As a Solutions Consultant, you will be helping banks transform their technology, simplify their system architecture, and streamline their operating model to achieve cost reduction and to support growth. 

 

Responsibilities & Deliverables 

(You will be working with Customers Across Front Office and Risk with a range of Tier1-3 banks in the EMEA region) 

  • Client-facing presentations: lead client-focused discovery, qualification and solutioning, based firmly upon value-led understanding and industry-informed knowledge of our client's needs. Prepare and deliver RFI/RFP answers, demos and workshops with clients and prospects. 

  • Client-facing collaterals: contribute to informative, on-brand white papers, presentation decks, client facing resources, videos and other material that ensures our clients understand why they should choose Finastra 

  • Internal knowledge sharing: learn & teach in internal knowledge sharing sessions on products and industry-related topics to keep up on latest evolutions. 

  • Collaboration: The Solutions Consultant can expect to coordinate, challenge, influence and otherwise engage Product Management, Professional Services, Sales, Partner teams, and other key stakeholders in Treasury and Capital Markets. You will develop your professional network 

  • Identifying Sales Opportunities: Work collaboratively and closely with the sales, product management and services teams, Identify and engage with Fintechs and banking ecosystem in general to address new industry challenges  

 

Required Experience and Skill:  

  • Experience in the Front Office AND Risk domains, working for financial software vendor(s) and/or for bank(s), experience working with Summit solution, or similar solution and strong appetite to learn 

  • Experience working with financial products across several asset classes including fixed income, foreign exchange, both exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives 

  • Hands-on experience working with treasury and capital market solutions and / or risk solutions (knowledge of Summit considered a plus)  

  • Knowledge and practical experience in banking book risk management covering interest rate and liquidity risk, asset and liability management, regulatory approaches for capital adequacy, ICAAP, ILAAP, Basel 

  • Confident in articulating the business values to a varied audience 

  • Keen in establishing senior level business relationships & developing new business 

  • Prior experience of delivering sales demos and/or working on leading trading and risk software is a prerequisite.
