Ciklum is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:
As a Senior Solution Architect, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Define the target architecture, integration patterns and reusable components across the conversational AI, API and data layers
- Design API contracts and middleware that decouple the virtual assistant from backend systems
- Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams and technical decision records for client review and sign-off
- Agree access, integration approach and non-functional requirements with client architects and system owners
- Run technical feasibility spikes and assess API readiness, dependencies and delivery risks
- Set the security and authentication approach, including identity, access control, audit logging and PII handling
- Keep track of the client's wider programme landscape to avoid duplication and design conflicts
Requirements:
- API and middleware design: REST, canonical JSON contracts, payload transformation (JSON, XML, SQL), versioning, retries, rate limiting and standardised error handling
- Cloud architecture, ideally AWS serverless (API Gateway, Lambda, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB), with CI/CD awareness. Equivalent GCP or Azure depth is acceptable
- Security and identity: OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, service accounts, role-based access control and GDPR-aware data handling
- Data integration: warehouse and analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks, including secure API access
- Applied LLM experience: prompt design, extraction of structured data from free text, confidence scoring and guardrails
- Integration with CRM and ticketing platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle Service Cloud, Jira Service Management or ServiceNow
- Clear written and verbal communication, including producing design documentation that passes enterprise review
- 8 or more years in software or solution architecture, including 3 or more years as a solution or integration architect on enterprise programmes
- Consulting or client-facing experience in large, matrixed organisations
Desirable:
- Voice AI or contact centre as a service (CCaaS) experience
- Multi-agent or supervisor orchestration patterns
- Experience modernising or wrapping legacy APIs
- Work in regulated sectors such as financial services, healthcare or education
- Relevant cloud or platform certifications (for example AWS Solutions Architect Professional)
Personal skills:
- Pragmatic: knows when to wrap a legacy system and when to wait for its replacement
- Proactive in unblocking access and dependencies with system owners, rather than designing around them
- Comfortable making and defending design decisions while several workstreams are moving at once

Skills Required
