The Impact of Sr Solution Architect to Coupa:

Our Professional Services Teams work closely with Coupa Customers, Partners and internal Product Management to implement the most valuable solutions for our customers.


As experts in Purchase to Pay processes, your main goal is to support the design, implementation and deployment of our products, to deliver best practice solutions and to ensure customer success, all while driving efficiencies and improvements.


You will work across several Coupa modules, including Procurement, Invoicing, Expenses and Analytics.

What you'll do:

  • As a specialist in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Travel & Expenses (T&E) product deployments, your main responsibilities will be in enabling customers in designing, configuring and adopting best-in-class purchasing and invoicing processes.
  • You will work with some of the largest companies in the world to guide them in defining the processes they use to manage their Procurement and Expenses activities.
  • Help customers focus on their goals and drive the implementation solution architecture towards a successful, on-time implementation, taking into consideration Suite Synergy opportunities.
  • Forge strong relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and provide functional expertise and industry best practices to colleagues, partners and customers.
  • Create and/or improve implementation templates, best practices, training and presentations and be a champion for their adoption.
  • Collaborate with documentation, training, and product management teams internally within your area of expertise.

What you will bring to Coupa:

  • 2+ years’ of consulting experience.
  • 2+ years experience in any of Finance, Procure-to-Pay and/or Travel & Expense Management. Previous consulting experience with the following applications is a solid predictor of success: SAP Ariba, Basware, Ivalua, GEP, Concur.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Strong client management skills and be able to guide customers on best practice driven design processes that lead towards a rapid, successful go-live.
  • Highly organized with the ability/experience to manage multiple simultaneous Enterprise projects.
  • Self-starter and quick learner, must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changes in a fast paced and passionate environment.
