NOV Angola is seeking a highly experienced Solids Control & Free Flow Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for the installation and operation bulk handling and automatic Tank cleaning equipment for offshore jobs in Angola. The position requires you to support operations in the field and make sure company's and customer goals and objective are achievable based on the contracts and operations requirements. FreeFlow, and iNOVaTHERM is new technology in Angola market.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to check in desk of appropriate departure point when requested.
- Report to company office as and when requested during normal working hours
- Report to company office one week in advance via email or telephone prior to scheduled date of return to work.
- Ensure all your required certificates are valid i.e. (Medical / HUET / Basic Offshore Survival / H²S)
- Fill out Monthly Engineering Report for each time you visit at the rig side which is to be signed off by the client prior to leaving the side and provide signed tickets to your supervisor before returning to home.
- Report usage of materials at the rig site through the Spares Usage Report and notify consumption through the equipment usage report. This should be submitted at the end of each month or at the end of your shift to your supervisor and you will be kept responsible for the rig inventory at all times.
- Compile and Submit daily equipment performance reports to town at the requested time by client via email or fax.
- Prepare EOWR (end of well reports) and submit to regional office
- To active participate in personal trainings as identified by NOV or Client
- Rig Surveys and reporting, installation of SC equipment and set up recommendation.

- It is expected that you are able to maintain a sufficient financial balance to cover your travelling expenses which will be reimbursed at the end of your shift with your salary.
- It is expected that you will assist in all areas of the NOV operation when requested including materials loading from the warehouse and housekeeping efforts in the workshop.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related field or
- 10 to 15 years experience in Oil & Gas and Drilling Operations

Skills Required
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- 10 to 15 years experience in Oil & Gas and Drilling Operations
- Valid offshore certifications (Medical, HUET, Basic Offshore Survival, H2S)
- Experience installing and operating bulk handling and automatic tank cleaning equipment offshore
- Experience with solids control equipment and technologies (FreeFlow, iNOVaTHERM)
- Experience compiling and submitting daily, monthly, and end-of-well equipment/engineering reports
- Ability to perform rig surveys, installation of solids control equipment, and provide setup recommendations
- Willingness to support field operations, travel offshore, and manage rig-side inventory and spares reporting
