Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Software Test Engineer sought by DISH Wireless in Plano, TX.
Design, create, and maintain automation test scripts. Design and build automation frameworks.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship around testing, automation, and frameworks.
Develop test plans. Coordinate and manage a single application project from a test perspective, including assigned resources and testing progress. Review the test plans and test coverage including scope definition, resource identification, risks and schedule. Lead requirements and test design/case reviews, perform test case reviews with other team members. Represent the test team in project status meeting and communicate issues appropriately. Compile and analyze metrics on testing activities and generate testing status reports during the testing phase.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree (will accept 3-year or 4-year Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering plus 7 years of experience in job offered or similar software testing roles. Also requires 6 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Software testing techniques such as _UI/API/Application testing, Smoke, Regression, End to End and Functional System Integration testing.
- Rally, Jira, HP Service Virtualization, ALM, Selenium, and SoapUI.
- Testing methodologies such as Agile
- SQL Oracle, SQL Server and MongoDB
- Java, Groovy and VB
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $126,131.00/Year
