Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
- Build and maintain reusable automation scripts using tools like REST Assured or Ready API, aligned with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement modular micro-automation strategies, monitor performance, and address technical debt to ensure efficient and scalable test execution.
- Partner with developers, testers, and product teams to translate requirements into automation solutions and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
- Provide documentation and training to support team adoption and ensure consistent use of tools and frameworks.
- Ensure comprehensive API test coverage, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to improving overall QA strategies.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field High-level qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in API test development using REST Assured or similar technologies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced in Agile environments with strong knowledge of CI/CD processes, SDLC tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally), and Git-based source control.
- Proficient in security protocols (OAuth, SAML), API Gateways (e.g., Apigee), Swagger/Swagger Hub, and conducting risk assessments and code reviews.
- Demonstrated expertise in microservices, APIs, and serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Redis, SQS, and related technologies.
- Familiar with modern architectures including Governance, Event-Driven Architecture, message-based systems, and caching strategies.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL and document-based databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, and DocumentDB, plus containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $120,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
