We are building and maintaining a Software-as-a-Service platform that is built on a Vue.js front-end and a JAVA/Spring back-end system using microservices architecture on AWS/RDS and Heroku. We constantly add new features that attract our current and potential customers and of course investors.
About the Role
Mobile Action is looking for a Mid/Senior Level Test Engineer who will help us build and maintain our services.
Your tasks will include
- Ensuring the software quality of our SaaS Applications by implementing, executing and reporting of automated and manual tests
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities,
- Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback,
- Troubleshoot, debug, resolve product issues as they arise. Maintain documentation of test results; analyze test results and recommend resolutions,
- Develop or specify standards, methodologies, or procedures to assess product quality or release readiness.
- Attend and/or participate in key process and review meetings; may review and research new QA tools, techniques and ideas, demo them as needed and introduce them appropriately into QA process as part of the Continuous Improvement process
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
- Security Audits and Testing: Assist with Information Security questionnaires, security audits, and internal/external penetration testing.
- Basic IT operations, Firewall & WiFi troubleshooting, MDM & MacBook configurations,
Your Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Engineering or other related fields,
- 3+ years of Software industry experience, including QA methodologies and software testing,
- Familiar with Defect Tracking & Bug Reporting tools like Jira / XRay
- Familiar with STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) and DLC (Defect Life Cycle)
- Passion or Proven work experience in software quality assurance,
- A fast-paced learning skills and ability to work cooperatively,
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases,
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS products,
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban etc.),
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- ISTQB -CTFL certification
- Familiarity with Java, Selenium, Cucumber
- Experience using testing tools such as JMeter,TestNG, Postman,
- Good understanding of test automation frameworks,
- Familiarity with distributed version control systems (git / github),
- Good understanding of continuous integration tools (such as Jenkins, Github Actions),
