Job Description
What you’ll do
- Accountable for testing of desktop, web, mobile and embedded applications.
- Requirements Analysis, issue debugging and ability to clearly communicate ideas and complex designs in a distributed team environment.
- Research, evaluate and utilize new technologies/tools/frameworks in software ecosystem.
- Work with teams to resolve operational and performance/scalability issues and test end-to-end solutions.
- Work with architecture/engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented and engineering best practices are defined and adhered to.
- Drive integration testing efforts – Test case writing, Test planning, Test strategy, Reviews.
- Procurement, installation and maintenance of hardware setups and problem-solving skills.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree with B.E/B.Tech with 6-9 years of experience in product verification in Software Industry.
- 3 years of experience working in Linux platform for embedded systems.
- 6+ years of experience working in testing Desktop (Windows/MacOS), Web, API, Cloud, and Mobile App (Native Android/iOS).
- ISTQB certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working closely with development team.
- Experience working in an Agile/SAFe development lifecycle.
- Experience with different testing processes – Black box testing, Integration testing, Test planning, Test matrix creation.
- Good to have experience in wired/wireless communication protocol testing such as Ethernet/IP and Wi-Fi.
- Good to have hands on knowledge of the following tools – VirtualBox, Putty, Postman, Wireshark, Charles, Confluence, JIRA, Xray.
- Exposure to Automation – Python, Selenium, Appium (or Robot), or other scripting languages.
