About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join the Shared Revenue Services team and lead efforts to modernize our existing quality assurance methodology. You will be instrumental in driving the test automation strategy, test design and development, release management, and test data setup for customer configurations. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving data management, API test design and web-based UI testing.
The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, code quality, test optimization, and integration testing, while also striving to improve the quality assurance process, identify areas of enhancement, and increase automation across the spectrum. You thrive on enabling other engineers to ship better code faster. You have also led quality assurance of at least one team and collaborated with other QAs and developers across multiple teams and product areas.
This is a hybrid position, which will require the ability to be onsite in our Kraków, Poland office as needed. Candidates must be based in Poland.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks to ensure reliable, resilient, and extensible build pipelines
- Lead initiatives to improve and evolve testing strategies
- Streamline automation within the CI/CD pipeline
- Mentor and support the QA automation team through problem-solving
- Maintain a high standard of quality for team project deliverables
- Participate in requirements review sessions with Product and Design partners, and other developers to ensure a superior end-to-end customer experience
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in engineering teams and full-stack software automation testing
- Proven experience building test automation frameworks from the ground up and scaling them
- Strong automation experience testing REST APIs and big data using complex queries
- Proficiency with test frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and RestAssured
- Proficiency with testing tools like TestNG and JUnit
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins
- Solid understanding of CI/CD and SDLC concepts, including code review best practices, code coverage analysis, and continuous testing and delivery
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of data-driven testing methodologies (preferred)
