Overview:
Looking for a Test Engineer with 6-8 Years of experience in the VoIP domain in the testing of IP PBXs, Unified Communications solutions & automation.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining test plans/cases/scripts for manual/automated functional testing.
Test case writing, execution and reporting.
Working with the development, customer support, and Product Management teams to address defect resolution and retesting.
Part of the Agile scrum teams.
Understanding and identifying risks; reporting status to the QA manager, PO/SM and project leads.
Should be hands-on with Automation Python or Java, Selenium to handle the automation using the Robot framework
Requirements:
Experience in software test engineering and methodologies. Should have experience in Functional, Regression and System testing in the Telecom Domain. Technical know-how in VoIP and TDM telephony and CTI, CSTA, and TAPI.
Good to know the Robot Framework
Excellent know-how in Session Initiation Protocol – SIP, Real-Time Protocol (RTP)
Excellent know-how in all kinds of telephony feature call flows like Enquiry, Call Waiting, Intrusion, Call Completion, Conference Call, Transfer Call etc.
Excellent know-how of ISDN Call processing, like Base Call and Supplementary Services
Excellent Knowledge of testing end-to-end UCC solutions and various IP PBX servers
Knowledge of Linux operation systems and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
Troubleshooting and fault tracing techniques (Wireshark, tcpdump etc.)
Understanding of the SAFe Agile framework.
Experience with defect tracking/management systems.
Experience with virtualization technology such as VMWare and/or Hyper-V. Ability to bring up test beds with minimum assistance on VMware
Good to know REST-based APIs.
Additional Skills (Advantageous):
Working experience in Automation in Python or Java
Framework- Robot Framework.
