You will define automation quality goals, framework architecture and software development practices, driving continuous improvement through robust engineering standards, reusable design principles and modern software engineering methodologies.
Your role:
Design, develop and evolve scalable automation frameworks, reusable libraries and enterprise-grade software solutions using C#, .NET, Python, C++, object-oriented design principles and modern software engineering practices.
Architect and integrate automation frameworks, software components and third-party libraries with Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to deliver reliable, maintainable and scalable automation platforms.
Drive Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) by establishing reusable Gherkin scenarios, automation components and framework standards.
Design and enhance software for logging, analytics, performance monitoring, engineering dashboards and framework observability to improve engineering productivity, software reliability and operational insights.
Lead Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) integration, simulators, engineering test infrastructure and framework interoperability across multiple product platforms.
Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews and comprehensive code reviews to ensure software quality, maintainability, reusable framework design and adherence to engineering standards.
Lead complex technical investigations through debugging, log analysis, root cause analysis and performance optimization while resolving cross-functional engineering challenges.
Evaluate, adopt and drive AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and AI/ML techniques for intelligent test generation, anomaly detection, defect prediction and engineering productivity improvements.
Collaborate with Software, Verification, Firmware, Systems Engineering, DevOps and Quality teams to define automation strategy, establish engineering standards and deliver scalable automation solutions across global product development teams.
