We are looking for a Senior Software Technologist – AI to join our Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and scaling intelligent software solutions that power next‑generation patient monitoring systems. As a Technical Lead, you will operate at the intersection of cloud-native engineering and AI/Generative AI contributing to the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-impact software systems that directly enhance patient care. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role requiring strong engineering fundamentals, system thinking, the ability to build and scale solutions end-to-end.
Your Role
Design, develop, and scale cloud-native software solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle — architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and observability
Develop robust APIs and backend services enabling scalable, distributed, and microservices-based systems
Collaborate across global, cross-functional teams (engineering, product, architecture, quality, and security)
Rapidly prototype, experiment, and validate new ideas while maintaining engineering quality standards
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and Responsible AI principles, especially in regulated healthcare environments
Apply a system-level mindset to problem-solving, balancing technical decisions with business and user impact
Continuously adopt emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field. PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or Computer Science is a strong advantage
10+ years of hands-on experience in software development with strong coding and system design expertise
Proficiency in Python and Linux
Strong experience in cloud-native development preferably on AWS
Hands-on expertise with Docker and containerized architectures
Experience working with modern coding agents
Proven experience in deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications in production environments, with a strong customer focus
Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI integration patterns. Understanding of AI governance, security, and privacy, particularly in regulated domains
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation frameworks
Experience building scalable APIs and backend services in distributed environments
Solid understanding of microservices architectures, distributed systems, and load balancing
Curiosity and adaptability to learn and experiment with new technologies
Nice to have: Exposure to UI frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript)
