This is a builder-operator role: you will contribute across the full lifecycle, from concept and implementation to deployment, operations, and continuous optimization.

You will work on capabilities such as:

  • IDS/IPS integration and tuning
  • Network anomaly and behavioral detection
  • Threat correlation and signal quality improvements
  • Automation of response and remediation workflows
  • Observability, monitoring, and reliability of NDR services

For this role, we are looking for people who are passionate about network security, automation, and solving complex problems.

Required qualifications:

  • Higher education (ETH, university, FH) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Practical experience with NDR tooling and IDS/IPS technologies (for example Suricata, Zeek, Snort)
  • Experience with Linux or another UNIX-based operating system
  • Strong software engineering skills with scripting languages (for example Bash, Python, Perl) and compiled languages (for example Go, Rust, C++, C#)
  • Familiarity with software and system testing practices
  • Proficiency in English

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of network security concepts and operational practices
  • Experience with cloud-native and container platforms (for example Kubernetes)
  • Experience with telemetry pipelines, detection engineering, or security data analysis
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and modern agile development workflows

Why Join Us

  • Impact at scale: your work helps secure global customer environments with high availability and low operational friction.
  • Ownership end-to-end: you design, build, deploy, and operate what you create.
  • Strong engineering culture: you collaborate with skilled peers across network, security, and platform domains.
  • Growth opportunities: in addition to your development work, you can become certified as a Mission Control Engineer, expanding your expertise in networking and security and gaining the opportunity for a 3-month deployment at our Network Operations Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
