Role Overview:
Deep understanding of Quality standards like GS5000, ISO 9000 and models like CMMI. Authors detailed software quality requirements to meet quality standards. Works with product development teams throughout the product development life cycle to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met. Trains the team on quality engineering practices. Drives effective software practices to ensure project work products comply with applicable standards, requirements. Provides input into program deliverables /milestones regarding quality (resources, schedule, goals, etc.) Drives actions from previous post-project reviews to closure as part of Product development team (PDT), including process/work product audits.
About Role:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated security integration tests to ensure seamless interaction between various components of our cybersecurity solutions.
- Utilize strong AWS knowledge to manage and test applications in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and security.
- Apply deep networking skills to validate network configurations, security protocols, and data integrity.
- Develop and execute comprehensive API test plans to verify the functionality, reliability, and performance of our API endpoints.
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and quality improvements.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, design test plans, and deliver high-quality products.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing methodologies.
- Qualifications:
About You:
- Minimum of 6+years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on integration testing and automation.
- Proven experience working with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security configurations.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of integration testing principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright, JUnit, TestNG and Selenium.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Postgres/MySQL/MSSQL/DynamoDB.
- Must have a strong background in Windows/Linux Operating Systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
