NVIDIA is a World Leader in AI Computing and Data transportation Technologies, and we are now looking for a Software Technical Program Manager for Quality Control Team in our Yokneam offices! We are looking for a bright, focused, analytical and motivated person with a good knowledge of SW PLC and development methodologies. The candidate will need to ensure the Networking SW is delivered on time and in high quality, by executing and tracking of quality improvements workstreams. As a Software Technical Program Manager, you'll work with all Networking SW departments to ensure excellent standards and execution of Software Products Quality. At this position you’ll be also working with NVIDIA worldwide support teams, internal engineering, and production groups, hardware teams, and Program Management groups.
What you’ll be doing:
Responsible for scheduling, planning, and controlling action items and delivery process.
Design, develop and lead champion SW processes and methods to improve software quality.
Driving software quality from concept to release delivery via specific KPI's and quality targets
Responsible for tracking and analysing customer quality incidents, working with other engineers and managers to improve methods to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
Responsible to ensure organization's commitment to quality and adherence to quality methodologies and processes.
Drive Quality process improvement initiatives to reduce customer issues and increase quality mindset of the engineering teams
Define and improve process, guidelines, checklists across various SW group.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, other relevant technical degrees will be considered
5+ years of experience in Program Manager/Release manager
12+ years of experience in Software development and leadership
Great interpersonal skills and agility with multi-tasking abilities.
Working in an independent and organized way.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent presentation and communication skills and eloquent English and experience in leading global projects.
Proficiency with tools such as MS Excel, Atlassian Confluence, enterprise ticket system e.g. Redmine, Jira, TFS.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Fluent in working with SW development AI tools
Proficiency with BI tools and DevOps techniques
Good technical knowhow and familiarity with Networking and Cloud technologies
Experience with Agile software development methodology and practices
Familiarity with embedded software and devices manufacturing processes.
