OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality strategy for the QA Framework—our foundational platform for scalable, reliable test execution. This is a high-impact contributor role where you’ll be empowered to independently lead quality initiatives, architect robust automation solutions, and solve complex challenges with minimal oversight.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced test automation frameworks and strategies that ensure the quality and reliability of our core services. Working closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams, you’ll drive continuous integration and delivery practices with a strong emphasis on test coverage, performance, and maintainability.
This role is ideal for passionate engineers who thrive on ownership, bring clarity to ambiguity, and influence outcomes through technical excellence and initiative.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:- Architect Scalable Automation: Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and other modern tools.
- Lead with Autonomy: Take independent ownership of quality initiatives and provide technical leadership across squads.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams to understand shared challenges and architect innovative, scalable solutions.
- Communicate with Impact: Engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to meet tight release deadlines.
- Drive CI/CD Excellence: Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Grow with Purpose: Be part of a collaborative, inclusive environment that values curiosity, readiness, and continuous learning.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in software with hand-on automation in QA.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Jest, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript , Python.
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL API testing and schema validation.
- Experience with test data management and test result reporting systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong analytical skills and an understanding of complexities and how components connect and relate to each other.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to technology and continuous learning.
- Experience working on framework-level QA initiatives
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead quality discussions across squads.
