Position SummaryMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Devises a comprehensive test strategy outlining the overall approach to testing the software application which includes the objectives, scope, test levels, test techniques and resources required for the testing process (Mandatory).
- Prepares a detailed test plan that outlines the test objectives, schedule, deliverables, test environment setup and resource allocation. It serves as a blueprint for the testing activities and ensures that the team follows a structured approach (Mandatory).
- Manage the team by assigning tasks, setting priorities and monitoring progress. Need to provide guidance, support and training to the team members, helping them improve their skills and productivity (Mandatory).
- Develop test automation strategy for large complex projects in AGILE methodology (Mandatory).
- Designing, creating Constructing and executing Automation test cases for API web services (Mandatory).
- Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands (Mandatory).
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements (Mandatory).
- Perform API testing, both manual and automation, ensuring the accuracy of backend services (Mandatory).
- Work with relational databases, using MySQL for querying and data validation (Mandatory)
- Performance Testing using JMeter (Mandatory)
- Conduct Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber with Ruby or Java to automate acceptance tests (Mandatory).
- Utilize Selenium for UI automation (Mandatory).
- Apply basic knowledge of Unix commands to interact with server environments (Basic knowledge).
- Use Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) (Basic knowledge).
- Manage version control using Git (Basic knowledge).
- Track defects and manage test cycles using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or TestRail (Mandatory).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure test coverage and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide clear communication of test findings, defects, and risks to stakeholders.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Manual & Automation testing concepts and testing methodologies (Mandatory).
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- 4 - 8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both Manual and Automation testing.
