Senior Software Engineer - Python(x/f/m)

You would be joining a team responsible for building and scaling a new product in the Doctolib suite: our Phone Assistant, with the vision to revolutionize access to care for patients and day-to-day practice management for practitioners. This opportunity will allow you to leverage the latest technologies in AI, NLP, Voice Recognition to build delightful user experiences and scale your product to millions of users. 

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the CAI (Conversational AI) team in the Phone Assistant domain.

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on all the features doctors in Germany, and tomorrow in France and Italy, use to interact with their medical practices over the phone. 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing a scalable next-gen dialog service in Python
• Leading the way in quality, maintainability and scalability of your teams code.
• Help us with your experience in service-oriented architecture and interacting with multiple internal services 
• Be the voice for pragmatic and robust architecture
• Thinking user first and help improve our user experience through new features and while maintaining high code quality standards;
• Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team);
• Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for the next quarters;

• You have 5+ years of software engineering experience;
• You’re familiar with software design patterns and domain-driven design
• You have strong background in Python and its popular web frameworks (such as FastAPI, Flask)
• Experience productionising AI applications (LLM/ML) at scale is a plus
• You have a “user first” mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code;
• You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture
