Position Description:
Develops and enhances Business Intelligence (BI) Reports, self-service reports, and dashboards using analysis tools – OBIEE, Tableau, and PowerBI. Performs analysis and development to support new and existing operational reports. Performs complex data analysis using SQL on Oracle database, Snowflake, and Excel. Develops and delivers viable software solutions in an Agile environment using Agile tools. Designs and builds resilient and scalable Cloud services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure platforms. Performs data migration and management using Oracle, Snowflake, and Salesforce.
Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing BI capabilities or functions within a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) implementing BI capabilities or functions within a financial services environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) building Asset Management reports on OBIEE/OAS, Tableau, and PowerBI.

DE designing and developing enterprise database applications using database technologies – Oracle SQL, PLSQL, Oracle Reports, and Snowflake.

DE designing and developing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) and Extract, Load and Transform (ELT) data movement between Salesforce and Snowflake; developing Data Movement Processes using Informatica and Oracle Data Integrator; and developing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.

DE designing and developing Spring and Python batch applications using Lambda, Autosys, and Artifactory hosted on AWS infrastructure.
Salary: $139,900.00 - $149,900.00 /year.
