As a Senior Software Engineer in the Embedded Licensing Solutions team, you will be an integral part of our embedded component team working with architects, tech leads, and business leads to develop and enhancement of our Embedded Licensing applications.
* Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications.
* Analyze software requirements and develop technical designs to meet the objectives.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java while ensuring high-quality standards.
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices in software development
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with software integration
* Work with Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team to help troubleshoot software issues reported by customers.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping team to learn and continue improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
* 7-8 years of extensive experience in full cycle of software development process using Java, specifically for enterprise software applications.
* Proficiency in multithreaded application development with in-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming.
* Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms as well as different design and architectural patterns.
* Solid understanding of client/server application, RESTful API Development and integration.
* Strong problem-solving and analysis skills with ability and willingness to work on complex technical challenges with excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git) and building tools (Jenkins).
* Knowledge of Agile Principles and practice
* Experience with database technologies, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
*Basic knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
*Advanced problem-solving and debugging skills.
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
