WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a BOOMI and cloud Senior Software Integration Engineer III, you will work with the team of engineers working on UKG Pro, Cloud infrastructure (AWS), and other HR ecosystem applications (Workday) that are essential to Nike’s strategy and growth. You will be responsible for gathering requirement, design, developing solutions, testing and deploy integrations while ensuring business engagement and satisfactions using BOOMI and various cloud and AI platforms
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
• Lead, develop, test, and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements.
• Drive collaboration between business, functional teams and other stakeholders to maximize timely delivery of solutions.
• Collaborating with product team members at Nike US Headquarters and India Tech center to design, develop, and deploy across various project phases.
• Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Hands on development across various stages of development.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas of HR data and information, whether internal to Nike or customer specific.Detailed Responsibilities:
• Lead the analysis, architecture, and design of scalable and resilient integrations for UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) using Boomi and cloud-native technologies.
• Serve as a technical expert in building, optimizing, and supporting integrations leveraging BOOMI platform capabilities and UKG Pro WFM APIs.
• Own the end-to-end integration lifecycle including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and implement cloud-native integrations on AWS, utilizing serverless services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and S3, as well as container-based solutions using ECS (EC2 & Fargate).
• Develop integration logic and automation workflows using Python and/or Node.js, ensuring maintainability and performance.
• Define and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enabling automated build, deployment, and validation processes.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency, code quality, and testing practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting best practices in integration architecture, modular design, and reusable frameworks.
• Leverage and extend UKG Pro WFM Boomi templates for efficient and standardized data import/export patterns.
• Design integrations using Boomi connectors such as HTTP, REST, File, Database, and SFTP, with a focus on reliability, security, and performance.
• Establish and enforce testing strategies including unit testing, functional testing, and end-to-end validation.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, logging, incident response, and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, product, and engineering teams to deliver business-aligned integration solutions.
• Utilize enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, PagerDuty, JIRA, and Confluence for incident management, change tracking, and documentation.
• Functional expertise across UKG Pro WFM modules including Timekeeping, Accruals,
and Attendance, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions is a big Plus.

WHAT YOU BRING
• 4+ years of experience in Boomi-based integration development, including enterprise-scale implementations.
• Boomi Associate Integration Developer and AWS Certified Developer – Associate is a PLUS.
• Around 7 years of experience building cloud-native integrations on AWS, including Serverless and containerized architectures.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python and/or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and environment management.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for accelerating
development and testing workflows.
• Strong experience with UKG Pro WFM APIs and functional domains.
• Demonstrated ability to work in large-scale, global enterprise environments with high data volumes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation, modularity, and extensibility.
• Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills
