The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Collaborating with team members, product owners and other stakeholders to build world class medical coding software
- Implementing business requirements to enhance a cloud hosted medical coding data pipeline
- Working with data scientists to prepare and test machine learning models for medical code prediction and assess medical chart readiness
- Working with stakeholders to debug, develop and improve the data pipeline
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND Three (3) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java programming language.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND Five (5) years of software development experience, preferably using the Java and/or Python programming languages.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- 1 year of experience developing cloud-hosted applications, preferably in AWS.
- 1 year of software development experience using the Python programming language.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related from an accredited institution.
- Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc.
- Experience with data science development using tools such as Pandas, MLFlow or PyTorch.

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
