PDQ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our internationally distributed team developing ISL Online, a remote desktop and access software solution trusted by universities, financial institutions, businesses and organizations in more than 100 countries worldwide. After an initial training period, you will join our Back-end Development (High Availability, High Performance) team.
We're looking for people who have:
Must Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience using one or more of the following technologies: C/C++/C#, Golang, Java, Rust
- Experience with:
- Development tools like Visual Studio, Xcode, CMake, QT, Git, AJAX, RESET. API’s/Web Services, PostgreSQL
- Documentation & Support Tools like Jira, HelpJuice, RT
- Collaboration & Productivity Tools like Bamboo, Bitbucket or similar development workflow tools
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of remote desktop technologies, networking, security concepts, and related infrastructure
- Knowledge of the broader IT industry and enterprise software environments
- Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams
