Summary:
In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable cloud-native supply chain applications that support critical healthcare operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build modern full stack solutions using .NET, Angular, and Azure technologies while driving engineering excellence, automation, and software quality. You will contribute to system architecture, mentor engineers, and support the delivery of resilient, data-driven platforms that improve operational efficiency and client outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable full stack applications using .NET, C#, Angular, and Azure technologies.
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
- Build and maintain robust REST APIs with a focus on performance, resiliency, and observability.
- Develop modern, high-performing front-end applications using Angular and related technologies.
- Leverage Azure services to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Build and optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub Actions, and automated testing practices.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support scalable and repeatable cloud environments.
- Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintain high-quality, maintainable codebases.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and cross-functional teams to deliver iterative business value.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction, design reviews, and engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or similar preferred.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Strong experience developing backend applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and modern software design principles is required.
- Strong experience developing front-end applications using Angular or other modern SPA frameworks such as React or Vue, including responsive UI development, component-based architecture, and API integration, is required.
- Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures required.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud design patterns required.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server, relational data modeling, and query optimization required.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and implementing automated testing strategies required.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, or ARM templates highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, software design principles, and engineering best practices preferred.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar technologies preferred.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
