Title and Summary
Senior Software Engineer
Mastercard Payment Gateway Service (MPGS) is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Senior Frontend Developer with strong experience in React & Angular. As part of our agile and dynamic team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining cutting-edge customer-facing solutions that are both scalable and secure. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about creating exceptional user experiences and driving the future of digital payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain complex web applications using React and Angular for the frontend, along with a Spring Boot backend.
*Develop and maintain both client-side and server-side logic to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
* Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices in frontend development.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Identify and troubleshoot frontend issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
* Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Education (preferred):
Bachelor's degree Computer Science (or related discipline)
Knowledge/Experience (preferred):
* Strong expertise in React & Angular, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems and Spring-boot experience (Backend)
* Proven experience building complex web applications from scratch.
* Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
* Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Strong understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
* Basic familiarity with Java programming.
