Job Title: Test Automation Architect
Overview:
Mastercard's Prepaid Services division delivers innovative prepaid solutions globally, integrating with leading brands and driving digital transformation. We are seeking a Test Automation Architect to lead quality engineering initiatives, design cutting-edge automation frameworks, and ensure robust testing strategies across modern delivery models such as Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement enterprise-grade test automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and data platforms.
Drive quality engineering best practices across teams (Dev TEAM, QA POD ) and mentor engineers to elevate test maturity.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to QA teams across multiple delivery streams.
Define comprehensive test plans covering functional, non-functional, and automation testing
Mentor engineers on best practices in automation, AI-driven testing, and quality engineering.
Implement AI-driven solutions for test data management, risk-based testing, and adaptive test execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align testing strategies with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines.
Introduce AI-powered predictive analytics for risk-based testing and release readiness
Establish test metrics and dashboards to measure automation ROI and continuous improvement.
Advocate shift-left testing and integrate automation into early stages of development.
Ensure compliance with security, performance, and accessibility testing standards.

Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks(TDD , BDD(Cucumber) for complex enterprise applications.
Strong programming skills in Java ,JavaScript, Python, TypeScripts, and scripting languages.
Expertise in tools like Playwright, Selenium , Appium, Rest Assured, Insomnia, ReadyAPI ,Postman
Exposure to accessibility and compliance testing using tools supporting WCAG guidelines (e.g Percy).
Strong database Knowledge with Handson exposure on MONGO DB, SQL Developer, ORACLE DB
Good to Have knowledge on WCAG , Preferred with Handson Experience
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Knowledge of containerization
Familiarity with AI/ML-based testing tools and Agentic AI frameworks for autonomous QA.
Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Testing principles.
Experience with API testing(SOAP / REST), microservices validation, GraphnQL
Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter).
Exposure to Test Management tool like JIRA/XRAY , ALM
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Previous experience in Payments or Card Services industry.
