Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company transforming the automotive dealership experience by automating administrative processes, streamlining sales workflows, and ensuring compliance.
They are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer (Platform & Backend) to join their fully remote team. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, taking ownership of architecture, and leading technical initiatives across the entire stack.
This is not a people management role. Instead, you’ll act as a technical leader, driving architecture, owning critical parts of the platform, and leading projects from design through production.
Responsabilities:
- Own and evolve major parts of the application architecture.
- Design, build and maintain scalable software across backend, frontend and infrastructure.
- Lead technical projects from design through production.
- Make architectural decisions and drive technical direction.
- Build and operate production systems with a strong focus on reliability, scalability and performance.
- Review code and promote engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform resilience.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building and scaling SaaS products.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, with solid experience across backend, frontend and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong backend engineering experience.
- Experience operating and maintaining production infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Proven experience designing software architecture and leading technical projects.
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer or Senior Software Engineer with architectural ownership.
- Comfortable working across the full stack and taking ownership from infrastructure through backend to frontend.
- Experience with AWS, Pulumi, Bun, React, Vite, GraphQL, PostgreSQL and Redis is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for IaaS, backend, and frontend development
- Experience with Pulumi for infrastructure-as-code
- Backend development using Bun
- Frontend development with React and Vite
- Experience hosting applications on AWS
- Familiarity with Postgres and Redis for data storage
- Experience with GraphQL and end-to-end type safety
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
