Position: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: 50 W. Liberty St., Suite 401, Reno, NV 89501
Responsibilities: Develop, coordinate, implement, and communicate the organization’s integration initiatives on our custom-built platform. Responsible for communicating daily with our top customers and their technology teams. Create and modify existing API/EDI/Enterprise Integrations. Design and develop technical solutions that satisfy the objectives stated in the business requirements; follow the industry’s best practices, techniques, and ITS National’s standardized processes to deliver new and improved data integrations. Develop integrations using a variety of technologies including Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, in C#, and/or Python. Create and update standard and custom maps using BizTalk and/or MapForce. Lead the design and development of complex EDI, API, and Enterprise Integrations. Effectively interact and communicate with trading partners, coworkers, and management on a regular basis. Proactively provide input to engineers and business stakeholders with respect to technical decisions being made. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to associate and mid-level engineers. Participate in a production support rotation identifying, diagnosing, and resolving EDI, API, and Application Integration issues.
Educ./experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a SAP EDI Integration Consultant, EDI Systems Analyst, or in a related position involving EDI integrations. Experience must include: Developing application integration architecture; design and develop complex integration objects; SAP configuration, Promethean, XML, XSLT Mapping, EDI document types; EDI Ansi X12, EDIFACT.
