Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Software Engineer (SDET) to join our innovative team at Wipro GE Healthcare. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robust software solutions that contribute to advancements in healthcare technology, leveraging modern architectural patterns and cloud-native services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Test Capabilities, and systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services, ensuring secure and efficient communication between systems.
* Contribute to the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
* Awareness and Minimal Experience on cloud-based solutions and infrastructure, leveraging various cloud technologies and best practices.
* Apply expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and various computer programming languages to create elegant and efficient code.
* Awareness and Minimal Experience on Design and manage database schemas, queries, and optimizations to support application functionality and data integrity.
* Champion DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated monitoring.
* Awareness and Minimal Experience on Explore and implement edge computing solutions to optimize data processing and real-time decision-making in healthcare environments.
* Architect and develop Test capabilities, that enable modernising software development encompassing both front-end and back-end components.
* Design and implement microservices architectures to ensure modularity, resilience, and independent deployability of services.
* Drive software design architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and technical standards.
* Contribute to software project management activities, including estimation, planning, and tracking of tasks.
* Implement strategies for system reliability, including fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure software quality and reduce regression risks.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* 12+ years of professional experience in software development.

* Proficiency in Test Automation frameworks and practices.

* Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices and tools.
* Proven expertise in API Development and Web Services Development.
* Strong understanding and practical experience with Cloud Technology (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Proficiency in multiple Computer Programming languages and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
* Solid experience with Databasing concepts, including relational and NoSQL databases.
* Familiarity with Edge Computing concepts and implementations.
* Extensive experience in Full Stack Development.
* Strong background in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
* Awareness in Software Design Architecture.
* Experience with Software Project Management methodologies.
* Demonstrable experience in ensuring System Reliability.
