Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Job Duties: Use different object-oriented programming languages to build performant and scalable backend applications in a cloud-based microservice architecture. Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product. Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Implement new features based on the design documents. Engage in code review to maintain and improve code quality, where also learning from senior engineers. Attend weekly 24x7 on-call rotation and address system issues timely. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) Kotlin; (3) SQL; (4) API such as REST, GraphQL, and/or gRPC; (5) Spring boot and Spring framework; (6) Testing framework; (7) Relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL; (8) NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Redis and/or MongoDB; (9) Microservice and Design Patterns; (10) Cloud Services; (11) Container-based technology such as Docker and Kubernetes; (12) Design Patterns; (13) Software Development Methodologies such as Agile or SCRUM. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Full-time telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $176,000.00 - $193,600.00 per annum and standard company benefits.
