Primary Responsibilities:
- Fullstack .Net development
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and REST API's
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, business analysts and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions
- Assist in the development of user stories and task estimates
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software
- Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems. Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
- Involved through the entire software development lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and support
- Continually grow personal skillset and knowledge base with independent research
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years building web applications and REST APIs using C#, ASP.NET Core & MVC, Entity Framework 4.5, LINQ, OAuth 2.0, XML, and SQL Server
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), CSS, HTML, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proficiency with solution design, secure coding, unit/integration testing, and performance optimization across the stack
- Hands-on experience spanning the full software development lifecycle (analysis → design → coding → testing → implementation → support), Agile/Scrum ceremonies, peer code reviews, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation (architecture, API specs, runbooks) and status reports; strong collaboration with product managers, BAs, designers, and other developers.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging production issues, building diagnostics/instrumentation, and participating in on-call rotations.
- Understanding and experience applying solid engineering design principles. Proficient in object-oriented design and Design patterns
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving; habit of identifying improvement opportunities and encouraging team growth.
- Experience with test automation (xUnit/NUnit, Playwright/Selenium) and pipeline quality gates (static analysis, SCA, SAST/DAST)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with agile development methodologies and pair programming
- Demonstrated leadership in peer reviews, inner-source contributions, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement practices; familiarity with product metrics and operational KPIs
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or Azure Architect, and/or Scrum/Agile certification (PSM I/CSM).
