We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Jerusalem. This is an amazing opportunity to work on our CDI/Summon team. The team consists of 7 people and reports to the Team Lead. We have a great full stack skill set, and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in full stack development.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

2+ years of experience in fullstack development
2+ years of experience working in large complex environments/systems
2+ years of experience developing in front-end frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, and VueJS.

2+ years of experience developing in an Object Oriented language (Java, Python etc.)

2+ years of experience with Linux/Unix environments

High level of English.

It would be great if you also had . . . 

Experience with Jenkins

Experience developing in Ruby/Ruby on Rails

Knowledge and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (i.e., Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB)
Experience with search engines (Solr, ElasticSearch)

What will you be doing in this role?

The Developer’s job includes understanding the requirements defined by the business analysts, designing and implementing a technical solution, and facilitating testing and rollout of the feature. The work includes bug fixes, performance, stability, and long-term maintenance tasks, communicating with other teams, product owners, and our support analysts. You should be comfortable working in a self-organizing team that works from remote positions and be a part of a global team – which requires flexibility in hours to accommodate the working time zones of other team members.

The developer will be a member of the CDI/Summon Development team, which is part of Exlibris Research and Discovery Solutions.

About the Team

The team is a global team of 7 members across 2 time zones.

Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model

This is a full-time position.
