We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Data Lake & ODS API Services Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise data ecosystem. This role will focus on managing, optimizing, and supporting our Enterprise Data Lake and Operational Data Store (ODS) while ensuring seamless integration with downstream using API services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in big data technologies, API development, and data integration to drive efficient and scalable data solutions.
What you will be doingTo oversee the Operation, Upkeep/Maintain and Administer EDL platform (Cloudera Manager Platform) across all environments (Production, DR, UAT, and SIT).
Serving as a liaison between business squad, developer and Product principal on platform support.
Participate in architectural discussion and decisions, contributing to overall platform design and ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability
Support, maintain, and optimize Enterprise Data Lake and ODS infrastructure.
Ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval from HDFS, HBase, and other data sources.

Design and implement data pipelines to facilitate real-time and batch data processing.
Develop and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka, Flink, or Spark Streaming.
Develop, manage, and optimize API services to expose and consume data from the Data Lake and ODS.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to support data-driven applications.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines, API integrations, and system performance.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for data lake and API services
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Technology
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Familiar with bank products, processes and operations.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skill.
- Good communication and documentation skill
- Fundamental analytical & conceptual thinking skill.
Other skills required:
- Ability to work with business squad to determine acceptable solutions.
- Team player and resourceful.
- Agile working experience.
