Required Skills & Experience:
Excellent working knowledge of SQL Server and core database concepts
Strong expertise in SSIS with hands-on experience in data migration projects
Experience in designing and developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
In-depth understanding of SQL performance tuning and optimization
Proven experience working with SQL Profiler and analyzing SQL Execution Plans
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research, learn, and apply industry best practices
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on large and complex development initiatives
Ability to conduct structured code reviews, unit testing, and actively participate in design review sessions
Experience preparing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Post-Incident Reports (PIR) for customer-reported issues
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges with quick turnaround times
Ability to provide timely, accurate status updates along with actionable recommendations to support decision-making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven collaboration experience with US-based stakeholders
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
6+ years of experience in software development or engineering roles
Responsibilities:
Leverage programming expertise to maintain existing applications and design, develop, and enhance new modules, features, and system integrations
Investigate software defects, diagnose root causes, and debug applications to resolve issues efficiently
Analyze business requirements and user needs to design and implement effective software solutions
Perform code refactoring, optimization, and performance tuning to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions
Manage assigned tasks across multiple projects using Agile methodologies through Azure DevOps with minimal supervision
Ensure timely delivery of work items and proactively communicate potential risks, dependencies, or scope impacts to management
Continuously research emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve solution quality
Work closely with team members to ensure alignment and successful delivery
Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, product managers, and customers to achieve project objectives
