About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing new features & products and helping to maintain and update our enterprise products. Working collaboratively with other talented engineers as an empathetic system thinker, you will continue to evolve our platform.

Our software stack includes Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, MyBatis, and Oracle DB on the backend. The Crunchtime Ops Management teams own the full-stack application that powers our customer experience across web and mobile devices. 

You’ll be building new customer-facing functionality and continuing to improve the stability and scalability of the Teamworx and related services.

What you’ll do as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Gather and analyze requirements for integrations with external systems in collaboration with partners and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and implement data mapping to the partner system and write detailed technical specifications.
  • Document integration setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance processes comprehensively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute integration strategies effectively.
  • Design and develop against the APIs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly, proposing and implementing enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be involved in release activities.
  • Be part of on-call support

What we’re looking for

  • Proficient in integrations, encompassing both file and API-based solutions, with good experience in REST API. Skilled in manual API requests using tools like Postman and Insomnia.
  • Specific experience with our tech (Java,Spring, SQL, PL/SQL, Kafka, microservices,K8)
  • Experience with DevOps
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture
  • Nice to have Python knowledge
  • Very nice to have familiarity with Payroll systems, Netsuite or Workday 
  • Can work with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Nice to have
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of working on large-scale projects.
  • Experience with mentoring and leveling up people around you
