Senior Software Engineer

About this role:
Wells Fargo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) group, which drives Agile practices, architecture, product development, cloud and test engineering, as well as training and process improvements that enable Wells Fargo Technology and the broader organization to achieve transformation.
In this role, you will:
Partner with the Chief Development Experience Office (CDXO) to accelerate the development of mission-critical engineering products and spearhead technology transformation across the organization. This function is strategically positioned to architect, engineer, and champion advanced engineering solutions that strengthen the control platform and enable enterprise-scale innovation.

The primary responsibilities within this position include:

• Bring in the technical know-how in understanding the underlying processes and implementation.
• Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on processes and procedures to ensure automation of controls.
• Help in architecting, designing and coding micro services for control platform.
• Working on JIRA tickets that are assigned to team.
• Managing and executing on plans to keep development timelines intact.
• Conducting system testing on process improvement initiatives that will impact operational processes

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Person should have development experience of 4+yrs.
• Preferred Knowledge and understanding of controls.
• Experience in Risk & Governance processes, policies.
• Strong experience in .Net, React, kafka, SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap.
• Experience in CI/CD and GIT.
• Experience on automated testing framework - NUnit/XUnit
• Experience in developing microservices and understanding on design patterns.
• Experience in Agile Scrum environment, expert in JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience in functional/user acceptance testing.
• Strong interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Demonstrating outstanding teamwork, attention to detail, and flexibility.
• Preferably have used or worked in ServiceNow platform.
