We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer to manage and drive critical customer integration projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the technical execution of complex integration efforts, working closely with the Customer Engineering Lead and other integration leads to deliver comprehensive solutions for our demo and POC automation platform. You'll be accountable for project delivery, technical implementation, and ensuring our integration strategies meet both customer and platform requirements.
What You'll DoCustomer Integration & Implementation- Contribute to technical design and implementation of customer integrations
- Collaborate closely with other integration leads to develop comprehensive solution strategies
- Reverse engineer and navigate complex third-party API endpoints
- Help develop scalable integration approaches for different customer environments
- Efficiently set up and configure environments using customer-provided APIs
- Create flexible integration solutions that can be adapted to various software platforms
- Build and maintain client wrappers for third-party APIs
- Gather and analyze metrics on integration performance and user behavior patterns
- Get hands-on with the codebase — actively coding customer integration solutions
- Mentor junior developers by demonstrating advanced integration techniques
- Provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality, maintainable integration code
- Work closely with Solutions Architects and other integration leads
- Participate in cross-team daily standups and technical grooming sessions
- Drive continuous improvement of integration approaches and tooling
- Contribute to broader team knowledge sharing and solution development
- 5-8 years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level programming skills, with strong proficiency in:
- Python
- Backend development languages
- Deep expertise in backend systems and database management, including:
- DynamoDB
- Complex database design and optimization
- Strong experience with AWS services
- Proven track record of designing scalable, extensible systems
- Advanced understanding of microservices architecture
- Exceptional skills in API integration and system reverse engineering
- Ability to navigate and integrate with complex third-party API endpoints
- Experience with JavaScript, Django
- Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Advanced AWS service management (Lambda, ECS, EC2)
