Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Design, train, and fine-tune Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Stable Diffusion, etc.) for various applications.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to preprocess and manage large datasets for AI/ML models.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into data-driven solutions, and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Build scalable APIs and services to deploy AI models in real-world applications.
- Build data pipelines for model training, evaluation, and continual learning.
- Monitor model performance, address bias or hallucination issues, and improve output reliability.
- Stay current with research in generative AI and contribute to model selection, benchmarking, and experimentation.
- Collaborate with researchers, product teams, and designers to integrate generative AI into products or user-facing tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and automation, with expertise in Generative AI and Data Science.
- Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Experience in building and deploying generative AI systems in real-world applications.
- Hands-on expertise with GANs, Transformers, and LLMs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation methods for generative models.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Solid understanding of data management, analytics, and ML concepts.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, Agile environments.
- Experience with AI/ML-driven data management solutions, automation, and analytics in clinical development workflows is a plus.
- Practical experience with AWS data and analytics stack (Glue, Redshift, RDS, S3, Athena, Lambda, Databricks) is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to Life Sciences Research & Development is a plus.

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
