You’re an experienced senior software engineer who enjoys solving problems and taking ownership. Enthusiastic, proactive, and take pride in the quality of your work. You enjoy challenges, stay adaptable, and care about writing clean, reliable code.
You’ll also be someone who communicates well with different teams, makes thoughtful technical recommendations, and stays up to date with modern engineering practices.
Day‑to‑day, you will:- Design and develop software solutions that meet agreed acceptance criteria, using a range of technologies across the Roundsman ecosystem.
- Take ownership of specific projects or deliverables, managing risks and dependencies with autonomy.
- Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance to other engineers in the team.
- Manage effective source control, including branching strategies to support multiple parallel workstreams.
- 7 years experience and above working with C#, .NET Framework (4.7), .NET Core, and modern API development.
- Exposure to React, SQL Server, SSRS, and handling formats such as XML, JSON, and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with web services, build and deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., ADO).
- Confidence using Git‑based version control and unit‑testing frameworks.
