You’ll join the Platform & AI Enablement team within our GPTO Engineering organization, as part of the Data Orchestration domain. The team is responsible for building core capabilities that power our data and AI infrastructure—enabling scalable, resilient, and intelligent systems to support enterprise-scale Business Planning Software solutions.
We are looking for a Senior React Engineer who excels at building highly interactive, real-time user interfaces. You will design and develop complex visual experiences, including data flow editors (DAGs), streaming dashboards, and workflows that help users understand and act on live system state. This role requires deep technical skill in modern front-end engineering, an eye for UX, and the ability to collaborate across backend, data, and platform teams.
Your Impact- Design and build rich, real-time front-end experiences, including dynamic dashboards, workflow builders, and visual DAG editors
- Implement highly responsive UIs that interact with streaming data sources (e.g., WebSockets, SSE, GraphQL subscriptions) with a focus on performance and reliability
- Architect reusable front-end systems, UI components, and state management patterns for long-lived, complex applications
- Collaborate closely with backend and data-platform teams to integrate with services powered by technologies like Kafka, Flink, Pulsar, and event-driven APIs
- Create intuitive visual metaphors for data pipelines, orchestration logic, and system health, making complex concepts accessible to users
- Own features end-to-end from design discussions and prototypes through implementation, testing, and delivery
- Maintain a high engineering bar through clean code, testing strategies, documentation, and participation in design and code reviews
- Optimize application performance, ensuring smooth experiences even under heavy streaming or graph-computation workloads
- Champion front-end best practices, accessibility, usability, and consistency across the product suite
- Work collaboratively across sprints, partnering with globally distributed engineering, design, and product teams
- Professional experience building production-grade web applications
- Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript, including hooks, context, advanced patterns, and application architecture
- Experience building real-time or streaming UIs (WebSockets, SSE, pub/sub models, etc.)
- Experience with complex visualizations, such as DAGs, graphs, timelines, or canvas/WebGL-based interactions
- Strong background in state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, XState, or similar)
- Deep understanding of front-end performance optimization and profiling
- Familiarity with data-intensive systems, event-driven architectures, or stream-processing concepts
- Strong skills in CSS frameworks and responsive design
- Experience with automated testing (Unit, integration, and UI tests)
- Experience working in international and distributed teams
- Familiarity with cloud-agnostic architectures
- Exposure to observability tools and practices
- Experience contributing to long-term technology strategy
