We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, tech savvy Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Workflow development to join the R&D team in our Madrid office. Reporting to the Platform Development Lead, you will actively contribute to the software development life cycle, working closely with other qualified Developers and Product Managers.
We embrace flexibility through a hybrid working schedule, with 3 days at the office and 2 days working from home each week, fostering a balance of collaboration and productivity.
Main duties:
- Design, develop, and implement software components and workflows
- Integrate the Board platform (.NET based) with the Flowable platform (Java based), by building custom Flowable components
- Translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to application architecture and system design
- Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications
- Recommend and initiate improvements
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Produce technical documentation for reference and reporting
What we look for:
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Proven, well-rounded experience in a Senior Software Engineering role
- Hands-on experience developing workflows, ideally with Flowable
- Proficiency in Java
- Solid knowledge of Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Familiarity with Microsoft ASP.NET 4.8/Core, C#, Web API 2, and SOLID design principles is a plus
- Exposure to Azure Cloud services and containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset with passion for continuous learning
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
