Senior Software Engineer
Datto’s SaaS Defense team is looking for experienced senior backend software engineer
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers to repair, improve, and optimize existing features from all parts of the project.
- Rewrite core features and libraries, plan, implement, and rebuild the system’s architecture.
- Document the system’s features and code.
- Define and create new features on top of existing ones in the system.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development.
- Deep knowledge and experience with Python.
- Ability to see systems from both a high and low-level perspective and understand and define the connections between its components.
- Knowledge and experience with microservice architecture, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge and experience with MongoDB, Redis, and MySQL.
- Experience with Widnows & Linux.
- Experience in defining and writing automated software tests – unit tests, component tests, and infrastructure tests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advantages
- Experience with C++.
- Experience with C#.
- Familiarity with Azure.
