Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Mateo, CA to prototype UI frameworks for Windows applications for company platform. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, and two (2) years of experience creating digital commerce solutions for games and media services; developing high performance user interfaces using React Native technologies; developing software system testing and validation procedures using Test Driven Development methodologies and gtest/mstest test frameworks for unit testing; working with frameworks including WinAppSDK, glfw, and Android NDK to design and create UI components to be used in React Native applications; designing and developing unit test cases using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and C++; analyzing and optimizing software performance and memory usage using lldb and clang; performing repository management using version control software including git/svn; in executing duties, utilizing Win32 and Linux networking protocols, modern C++ concepts including RAII, metaprogramming and smart pointers, Jenkins CI/CD systems and groovy scripts, cmake, ninja, Visual Studio, and vcpkg. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. Sony is an EOE.
Salary range: $225,844.00 - $289,900.00/year
