Job Description

CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop software solutions using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability. Develop an in-depth understanding of CoStar’s product architecture and frameworks to maintain and contribute to CoStar’s product platform. Participate and drive continuous improvement within CoStar’s Agile/Scrum teams. Evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 5 years of experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 5 years of experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation, the employer will accept 7 years of experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with production development using C#, .NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, Angular and database development; 5 years of experience with building and launching successful products and platforms; 5 years of experience with software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable, reliable, and secure software systems; and 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing frameworks. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Job location: Irvine, CA. RATE OF PAY: $176,134.00 - $187,000.00 per year.
