The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Gamification team, you'll take a crucial role in building engaging, high-quality systems. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and data analysts. As a senior engineer, you'll contribute to technical strategy, set high standards for backend development, and help grow the team's capabilities through mentorship and collaboration.
What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices based applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, high-performance systems.
- Optimize database performance and write efficient queries for MongoDB, Redis, RDS and MySQL.
- Work with Kubernetes (K8s) to deploy, scale, and manage services.
- Continuously learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure code quality through best practices.
What you'll bring
- 4+ years of experience using Node.js and React, with a stronger focus on backend development.
- Extensive experience with MongoDB and Redis for backend systems, and strong proficiency in NoSQL data modeling.
- Solid understanding of OOP and RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with event-driven systems, including technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SNS/SQS.
- Proven ability to write and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Strong experience working in cloud environments (preferably AWS).
- Ability to guide and mentor other engineers, conducting code reviews, design reviews, and hands-on debugging.
