MicroStrategy, Inc., dba Strategy seeks Senior Software Engineer in Tysons Corner, VA:

Job Duties: Responsible for developing features, and determining the requirements, dependencies, of the feature as well as missing functionalities on Intelligence Server and BI Web SDK projects.

Provide Effort Estimation Points to plan the backlog accordingly. Create SE designs for given features and providing information about sections provided below for new MicroStrategy REST Application Programming Interfaces: Purpose, Design (User Interface, Sequence diagram), Components, Data Model (Request and response body), Application Programming Interfaces (XML/REST API calls to Intelligence Server), and Nonfunctional requirements (Security, Scalability, Performance, Stability, etc.). Perform analysis/spikes for some of the areas of SE design. Responsible for providing unit tests to validate the behavior of services dedicated for RESTful APIs as well as verifying corner cases and boundary conditions. Responsible for reviewing User Experience and User Interface designs of features in confluence pages. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to MicroStrategy, Inc.’s Tysons Corner, VA office is required.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) RESTful API; (2) Spring; (3) React/Redux; (4) User Interface; (5) JavaScript; (6) Git; (7) C# or Python; (8) Java; (9) Jenkins; (10) Docker; (11) Junit and Jest; (12) Webpack; and (13) Data Structures/Algorithms. Salary: 170,980.00 - $185,300.00 per annum.
